Empties #16: Skincare + Makeup

Empties #16: Skincare + Makeup

On Wednesday I shared my body care empties so today I'm sharing my skincare and makeup empties.

Fruit Stem Cell Revitalize Serum // Andalou Naturals

I adored this serum! I loved the smooth texture that instantly hydrated my skin. I also loved the fruity scent. I'd definitely repurchase.

Willow Bark Pure Pore Serum // Andalou Naturals

I was nervous this would dry out my skin, but it didn't at all. I loved that my skin got a daily dose of acne fighting goodness.

It really worked too, because I had less redness, acne, and problem spots. And since I've stopped using it, my skin has gotten a little bit worse. So I'll be repurchasing for sure.

Brow Wiz in Taupe // Anastasia Beverly Hills

This is my favourite brow product. It's got a really thin tip so it makes doing my brows really easy. I've already repurchased.

Cream Brow Pencil in Flax // Zuzu Luxe

This was the first brow pencil I used, and while I liked it at first, I really don't like it now.

I just think the colour is awful for my brows, and the other colours don't work either. But I hate how smudgy this is, it makes the application process a little frustrating. I won't be repurchasing.

Fruit Pigmented Mascara in Black Tea // 100% Pure

I have mixed feelings about this. So I didn't like it at the time because I didn't think it gave my lashes enough length or volume.

But since I used it up, I've tried other mascaras that are a lot worse, and barely give my lashes anything. I won't be repurchasing this, but so far it's one of the better natural mascaras.

Cocoa Butter Mini // Vaseline Lip Therapy

I love Vaseline. Growing up, my mom used it a lot but I never liked it. Until I had a particularly awful reaction to an "all natural" lip balm. My lips were red, dry, itchy, and they looked awful. My partner suggested Vaseline, and I've been hooked ever since.

It's the only lip balm that's actually hydrated my lips instead of drying them out. I already have another three hundred stashed throughout our apartment.

Did you read both empties posts? What did you think?

Until next time,
