Empties #18: Leaves of Trees, Aura Cacia, + More

Empties 18: Leaves of Trees, Aura Cacia, + More

I've got so many empties to share with you! Let's get started.

Hydrating Facial Wipes // derma e

While wipes aren't the best way to cleanse your skin, they're a great way to quickly remove makeup at the gym. I use them right before hot yoga, because if I do a proper cleanse, my skin is going to need a moisturizer, and that's not something I want to deal with before yoga.

I did really like these, and I'll probably repurchase. While they didn't strip my skin, they also weren't super hydrating either.

Clarifying Willoe Bark Konjac Sponge* // Andalou Naturals

This was the first Andalou konjac sponge I've tried and it was amazing. I'm a total convert to konjac sponges. They're such a gentle, natural, and really effective way to exfoliate your skin.

I used to shrug at exfoliation, but gently exfoliating is an important step in skincare. It helps to remove dead skin, clearing your skin and unclogging your pores.

This is infused with willow bark, which makes it great for problematic skin like mine, as it's going to reduce inflammation and help resolve acne. I'm totally going to repurchase!

Sensitive Skin Booster Serum (Camelina + Chamomile) // Odacite

I've been dying to try an Odacite serum, but this left me feeling disappointed. I didn't notice a difference in my very sensitive skin, and at that price point, I won't be repurchasing.

Volume Pure Mint + Echinacea Stem Cell Conditioner // Acure Organics

I adored this conditioner. The invigorating, minty scent was a lovely treat every time. The clean ingredients like berries, argan oil, and essential oils effortlessly hydrated my hair without leaving residue behind. I'm currently trying another Acure conditioner, but I'd still repurchase this.

Purifying Eucalyptus Aromatherapy Shower Tablets // Aura Cacia

I included these in my 5 Simple Steps to a Relaxing Shower Routine post. They're essential oil tablets that release the natural, relaxing scent of eucalyptus as the water hits it. It's a simple way to treat yourself to a more relaxing shower. I'll definitely repurchase.

Eucalyptus Seaweed Scrub // Leaves of Trees

I picked this up on a whim and I'm glad I did. It's probably the most luxurious scrub I've used. It contains incredibly nourishing and hydrating ingredients like argan and olive oils and seaweed powder. The gentle salt exfoliates your skin, and the fresh peppermint smell is wonderful. I would repurchase.

Soothing Aloe Vera Deodorant Stick // Jason

This is my go to, favourite deodorant. The aloe soothes my under arm area, preventing irritation. The light, fresh scent is great year round, as it doesn't clash with my lotion or perfume.

It also works really well, although I've found it doesn't last through hot yoga sessions. But to be honest, nothing does. I've already repurchased.

A Path of Light Lavender Hand Cream // Andalou Naturals

This is my go to hand cream. It's a hydrating hand cream that doesn't leave my hands greasy. I love the light lavender scent and will definitely be repurchasing.

While I've talked about these hand creams over and over, I've neglected to mention a few things. These are Fair Trade, Non GMO hand creams that are verified gluten free. They're also cruelty free and vegan, and contain some organic ingredients. But the best part is that 100% of the profits are donated to improve education and empowerment!

Pink Grapefruit Hand Buttercream // 100% Pure

100% Pure has created deliciously scented, hydrating hand creams. I love the scents, as they're natural and not overpowering, but still unique. They're also very hydrating, although I do get a bit of a greasy feeling. I may repurchase, but I'm not running back to the store for more.

Qwench Body & Bath Oil in Lavender Dreams* // Nature's Pure Bliss

I was nervous about trying a body oil because I didn't know if it'd be messy or if it'd even sink into my skin. But I'm so glad I was able to try this one because it's quite perfect. It wasn't messy, although I think a pump bottle would be even better.

The oil did sink into my skin quite quickly, leaving my skin super soft. I also fell in love with the scent; the combination of lavender, lemon, and vanilla was absolutely perfect. I would repurchase.

Vegan Lash Mascara // Earthlab Cosmetics

I was hoping this would be a great, natural, vegan mascara. But it left my lashes feeling flat. They didn't look different, mascara or no. I won't be repurchasing.

That was a lot of empties so thank you for staying until the end!

Until next time,
