Woodlot Rejuvenating Green Tea Clay Mask Review

Woodlot Rejuvenating Green Tea + Clay Mask Review

I've been a long time fan of Woodlot's candles, essential oils, and more recently, their body lotions. With the launch of their new skincare line, I'm happy to share their Rejuvenating Green Tea Clay Mask+ with you!

Woodlot Rejuvenating Green Tea + Clay Mask Review

This Mask Is...

  • Organic
  • Vegan
  • Cruelty Free
  • Made in Canada

Made With...

  • BC Glacial Clay*
  • Oat Flour*
  • Green Tea*
  • Seaweed Powder*
  • Bergamot Essential Oil*
  • Grapefruit Essential Oil*
  • Orange Essential Oil*

I love these ingredients - they're unique, simple, filled with skin goodness, and organic!

Texture - As a powder, this face mask has a very fine, almost silky texture that's easily mixed with water to create a paste. As a mask, it has a smooth consistency that's easy to apply and remove.

Scent - In this Instagram post I talked about how I feel like this mask is so much more than a mask - it's an experience. It's a sensory, indulgent, grounding, mood boosting experience that I believe is centered around essential oils.

While we never want artificial fragrances in our skincare, this mask is infused with grounding bergamot (an absolute favourite of mine), grapefruit, and orange essential oils.

I've used this mask when I've been feeling out of sorts, cranky, tired, and just not myself, and within ten minutes I feel like I've sorted myself (and my skin) out.

Note: If you have sensitive skin and are worried about the intensity of the essential oils, you should know I have very sensitive skin that is bothered by fragrance, high concentrations of essential oils, and sometimes even just touch, but this mask does nothing but soothe my skin!

Efficacy - This mask is meant to give your skin a dose of vitamins and nutrients, prepare it for the rest of your skincare ritual, minimize pores, and leave your skin feeling rejuvenated.

And I truly think it does all of the above. It's my go-to 'does it all' when I don't need something specifically brightening, clarifying, or hydrating, because it really does do it all.

My skin is always left soft, smooth, and soothed, with noticeably less redness and irritation. I'm not 100% sure it minimizes my pores, but my skin does appear less congested, and much more bright and clear after each use.

Sustainability - I think Woodlot does a wonderful job with sustainability. This mask is made with organic ingredients, which are better for the planet (and the people). Like their other skincare products, this is packaged in glass, and it's actually the perfect size to reuse for your own homemade skincare creations.
